How to Reduce Broken Rice in Your Milling Line

Broken rice lowers the value of your output, so minimising it protects margins. Brokens come from over-aggressive husking and whitening, poor moisture control and rough conveying.

Gentle iron-roller whitening (JLM series), correctly set pneumatic husking and super-slow bucket elevators all help preserve whole kernels. A reliable gravity paddy separator (MGCZ) ensures only properly husked grain advances, avoiding repeated milling passes.

Balancing each stage — rather than pushing one machine too hard — is the key to a high head-rice yield.
